New York, September 29, 2026: Insurance Insider US has launched the Securities Class Action Database, a new data tool that tracks class action lawsuits brought under US securities law.
Securities class actions are typically brought by investors against corporations, and they can have a major impact on D&O pricing, corporate risk and investment decisions. The new database codifies the key details of each new case, giving subscribers a faster way to track litigation trends, benchmark exposure and spot risk early.
More than 60 cases have been added since tracking began in July, and new cases are added in real time. Each addition is covered by the Insurance Insider US editorial team in its Securities Briefs series.
The database is built for four groups:
“Securities class actions are one of the clearest early signals of trouble at a company, but the information is often scattered and hard to compare. This database brings it together in one place and gives the D&O market the data it needs to act sooner.”
