New platform brings insurance, reinsurance and ILS coverage together, with a customisable dashboard and real-time alerts

London, 7 May 2026: Insurance Insider, the specialist news and intelligence provider for the global insurance and reinsurance market, today launched Insurance Insider 2.0, a major upgrade to its subscriber platform.

The new platform brings coverage of the insurance, reinsurance and ILS markets together in one place and gives subscribers far more control over what they see and when.

New features include:

  • A customisable Intelligence dashboard. Subscribers can filter content by region, segment, topic, line of business or company, then save their preferred views so the stories that matter to them are always one click away.
  • Breaking news alerts. Subscribers can set up real-time email alerts for the areas they follow, such as reinsurance, cyber, Lloyd’s, catastrophe losses or M&A. They can choose as many as they like or opt for top stories picked by our editors.
  • Easier navigation. New in-platform guidance helps readers find their way around and get the most from their subscription.

“Our readers have told us they want to get to the stories that matter to them faster. 2.0 does exactly that. It puts our journalism and data in one place and lets each subscriber shape it around their own corner of the market.”
Jon Akass, Head of Product, Insurance Insider

Insurance Insider 2.0 is live now. Subscribers can log in at portal.insuranceinsider.com. To find out more or request a trial, visit insuranceinsider.com/2.0-platform-upgrade.
